MR YAP SHINN
Mr Yap Shinn is a former teacher of
Hwa Chong Institution (HCI). He
received his B.Eng from the National
University of Singapore in 2004. From
2005 to 2012, he taught at HCI; in
between, he left to complete his
training at the National Institute of
Education (NIE), as well as for a stint at the Ministry of Education (MOE) (Headquarters). Having been trained to teach both Physics and Mathematics, Mr Yap was the Organising Secretary of the Singapore Mathematics Olympiad for Primary School in 2008. Mr Yap displays a keen passion for motivating students, and served as both the Education Consultant for Student Leadership and the Head of Year for Secondary Three students while he was in HCI.
MRS YAP - HUANG SI JIAN
Mrs Yap - Ms Huang Si Jian is an experienced
teacher who has spent most of her years
in education teaching students in the Integrated
Programme (IP). From 2004 to 2006, she
taught English and Literature at Raffles Girls’
School (Secondary), and was among the
pioneer batch of teachers who wrote curriculum for the Raffles Programme. From 2007 to 2011, Ms Huang served in Hwa Chong Institution, teaching both students from the Integrated Programme as well as the Gifted Education Programme (GEP). She has presented lesson materials at the Gifted Education Conference (2006) as well as taught a Master Class at the launch of the English Language Institute of Singapore (ELIS) (2011).

MS SANTHI SATHYAMOORTHI
Miss Santhi Sathyamoorthi is a former
teacher of Raffles Girls' School
(Secondary). She received her B.A from
the National University of Singapore in
2005 and completed her training at the
National Institute of Education (NIE) in
2006. From 2007 to 2011, she worked
as a teacher at RGS. She attended
Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
from 2011 to 2013 and received her
M.Sc in Information Studies. Trained to teach English and English Literature, she has written curriculum and taught for the Integrated Programme (IP) -otherwise known as the Raffles Programme - in RGS. Miss Santhi possesses excellent communication skills and inspires her students' learning process by creating a fun and challenging learning environment.
